The Blog formerly known as "Flight of the Pigeon"

Just letting those who read this know, my blog has a new address and a new name. Today I re-christened my blog, the blog formerly known as "Flight of the Pigeon" is now known as "David Bain's Blog". I've decided to make use of my domain name, so you can visit this blog at http://blog.dbain.com, though the long winded, pigeonflight.blogspot.com will still get you here.

I will continue to run this on Blogger because it works well for (uhm) blogging, plus it's really easy to administer.

Brief history, I used wordpress before it was called Wordpress. (anyone remember b2?). Setup a blog for my sister, which she used for about a year.

I've had this blog for a while, doing nothing with it, since my plan was to run my own blog using Plone or something "pythonic"....

So... here I am starting my first official blog post using blogger. More will come.
